Dermatologic Surgery

The JH Rahn Foundation continuously supports visiting physicians who get dermatologic surgery training at the Department of Dermatology, University Hospital of Zurich.

From 2020 onwards our staff physicians plan to extend the structured training in basic and advanced general and oncological dermatologic surgery, as well as in Mohs micrographic surgery.

Besides and independently, basic and advanced courses shall be established.

Phlebology and Wounds

Up today, the JH Rahn Foundation supported two training courses in phlebology and wounds, entitled “Dermatology – Phlebology”. These courses address in the first intention advanced dermatology residents and form a basis for those who want to get deeper insight later on in their career.

The two programs of 2018 and 2019 are attached.

For 2020 the “Dermatology – Phlebology” course is integrated into the extensive “Venalpina” congress (26.-31.08.2019, Seefeld in Tirol, Austria)
